Paul F. Farquhar, age 69, passed away December 31, 2018 at McLaren-Flint Hospital, after a short illness, with his family by his side. He was born on January 14, 1949 in Sarnia, Ontario to the late Dale and Frances Farquhar. Paul worked for the Mueller Brass Company, retiring on June 1, 2010 after 42 years of service to the company. He was a past union president representing union Local #44. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3702, and the Loyal Order of Moose #158. Paul’s passion was riding motorcycles and rode whenever he had an opportunity. He is survived by his soulmate, Patty Seaman; step-children, whom he loved as his own, David(Crystal) Farquhar and Stephanie(Kenneth) McRae; siblings, Daniel(Arlene) Farquhar, Sandra(Walter Curtiss) Nelms, Mark(Tina) Farquhar, Wendy(Wil) Artman, Deena(Christopher) Lynch, and Matthew Farquhar; sisters-in-law, Beverly Brougham, Gail Farquhar and Kari Farquhar; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends; his four-legged friends, Sissy and Ziva and his bird Tiki. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Kenneth, Ian and Thomas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Black River Boat Club, 4045 Strawberry Ln. with a wake to follow at 5:00pm at the Tally Ho Restaurant, 7933 Lakeshore Rd., North Lakeport.
