Maretta Fae (Brown) Campbell

Mrs. Maretta Fae Campbell, age 89 of Fenton, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away surrounded by her family on January 18, 2019.  Beloved wife of the late Carl for 71 years. Dear mother of Carla (Bryan) Gould and the late Michael (Mary) Campbell. Loving grandma of Doug, Andy, Nate, Amy and the late Rachel.  Great grandma of Maggie, Jane, Caroline, Sophie, Tyler, Jace, Michael, Brayden, Drake, the late Hannah and the late Edward.  Maretta also leaves her brother Robert (Patt) Brown and many nieces & nephews.

Maretta had a passion for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Through the years Carl and Maretta would take many trips to see the kids and had many adventures camping with them. The pair also traveled all over the world, including an African Safari, touring Brazil, Europe, Alaska and Hawaii.  They also loved to cruise. Maretta was an expert seamstress. She also loved making crafts, especially with her grandchildren. Maretta found much peace in her garden where she would grow the tastiest vegetables and the most beautiful flowers. No services will be held at this time. Contributions may be made in Maretta’s name to the American Cancer Society.
