Deborah Kay (Noel) Butler

Deborah K. Butler, age 65 of Burton, passed away surrounded by her family on June 10, 2019. A private service and burial will take place at a later date. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Deborah was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 30, 1954 to Richard P. And Marylou Noel. She attended Warren High school and graduated in 1972. She married Stanley “Michael” Butler on August 3, 1974 and moved back to Michigan after Michael retired from the Navy in 1997. She was a member of Holy Redeemer church along with her husband Mike and served for many years. Deborah was a devoted mother and grandmother to the grandchildren of her heart. She enjoyed volunteering every year at the Holy Redeemer festival, vacationing with the granddaughters, and being a Girl Scout leader. She has always had a strong faith and concern for others. Through her years of life she devoted time, love, and energy raising her children, grandchildren, helping her brothers, and father through countless joys and challenges. Deborah was a beautiful woman inside and out. Deborah is survived by her three devoted children, Jennifer (Dan) Mangum, Michelle (Fredric) Moses and Scott (Sarah) Butler; three grandchildren, of her heart Heather Halliday, Heaven Anslow, and Ayla Nance; Sister of Jeff (Sue) Noel, Gery (Deb) Noel and Kevin (Mary deceased) She also leaves many extended family members from California to Florida.
