Danny Cox

Danny D. Cox, age 47, passed away surrounded by his family on October 22, 2018. Beloved fiancé of Mary Holifield. Dear father of Brittany (Anthony) Dondineau, Samantha (Kurtis) Cox, Toni cox and Hannah Cox. Step father of Alex, Brianna, Preston and Zack. Grandpa of Elliona, Sara and Geralyn. Step grandpa of Enzo and Natalie. Dear brother of Connie (Wayne) Barrient, Gordy Cox, Lisa (Bob) Manson, Misty (Brandon) Worden, Erika (Matt) Gillies and Ardel Uppleger. Danny also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Burton Cox and Helen Worden and sister Rochelle Cox. Danny was an Alumni of Genesee and Lakeville Schools, later earning his GED. He was a member of the Auto City Eagles Club and member of the Local 514 Cement Masons. Danny loved to watch the Detroit Red Wings, Lions and Pistons. And he was a big Michigan State fan. His hobbies included canoeing, fishing and being outdoors, but nothing pleased him more than to be working. Danny's family was very important to him and he took much pride in working hard and supporting them. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 10th, from 2-6pm at the Mt. Morris Eagles Club, 7445 Clio Road, Mt. Morris, 48458. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family C/O Samantha Cox.
