Charles Johnson Obituary

Mr. Charles A. Johnson, age 89, was born on September 20, 1929 in Muskegon Hts, MI to Arthur E. Johnson and Cynthia Derryberry Duvall and passed away on May 2, 2019 at Charter Living in Davison. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Bernice (Bevins) Wiegand on November 16, 1962. He retired from General Telephone Co. where he was an analyst. He is survived by his brother, Arthur E (Kay) Johnson Jr. of Flushing, MI; step children; Albert (Pat) Wiegand of Twin Lakes, MI, Edna (Chuck) Peterson of Las Vegas, NV and Eva (Bob) Zittle of Yuma, AZ, step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many, including nieces Faith Ellis and Laurie Katerberg, who spent a lot of time with him after his move to the Flint area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; Step-son Tom Wiegand, brothers Richard Johnson and James Duvall. No services are planned.
