Betty M. (Fox) Shinsky

Mrs. Betty M. Shinsky, age 92, passed away October 14, 2019 at Lockwood of Fenton. She is the loving wife of the late Paul V. Shinsky. Surviving are her children, Ken (Kathy) Shinsky of Livonia, James (Linda) Shinsky of Niles, Daniel (Mary) Shinsky Linden, Barbara (Rodney) Zachman of Newaygo, Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.  She was born to Arthur and Gertrude Fox on September 14, 1927, grew up in Detroit, MI. She married Paul V. Shinsky on July 12, 1947. Betty and Paul lived in Detroit until retiring to Linden, Michigan in 1989 (Paul passed December 18, 1996).  Betty loved spending time with family and friends, reading and playing cards. She volunteered for many years at the Loose Senior Citizen Center, Linden, MI.  Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Sister Barbara Kroll, Brothers Jack Fox , Ken Fox, Marty Fox and Bud Fox.  Memorial Visitation will be Monday October 21, 2019, from 4-7 pm, with a 6:30pm Prayer Service, at the Temrowski Family Funeral Home, 500 Main St. Fenton, MI 48430. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Loose Center, 707 Bridge St., Linden, MI 48451
